What You'll Need:
- 18 grams of Cannonball
- Aeropress
Brewing (Inverted Method):
- Dose: 18 grams
- Water: 194 grams
- Time: 2 minutes 10 seconds (immersion)
- Plunge: Slowly! (You'll lose about 32 grams of water)
- Dilute: Add water to reach 235 grams total.
Taste:
Just like the espresso: smoked black tea, walnut (bitter touch), cherry, and smoky.
Cherry Pick Filter Brew
Get ready for a fruity, chocolatey cup of Cherry Pick!
What You'll Need:
- 16.5 grams of Cherry Pick (Anaerobic)
- Pour-over device (V60, etc.)
Brewing:
- Dose: 16.5 grams
- Yield: 250 grams
- Grind: Medium coarse (like sea salt)
- Water Temp: 195°F (90.5°C)
Steps:
- Bloom: Pour 50 grams of water, wait 30-40 seconds.
- Pour 1: Add 100 grams of water over 30-40 seconds.
- Pour 2: Add the last 100 grams over 30-40 seconds.
- Time: Total brew time 3-3.5 minutes.
Taste:
Think spiced berry jam and smooth milk chocolate.
Chicory Chic - South Indian Filter/Moka Pot
Experience the rich, bold flavors of Chicory Chic.
What You'll Need:
- Chicory Chic (South Indian Filter Grind)
- South Indian Filter or Moka Pot
South Indian Filter Brewing:
- Dose: Fill the top chamber of the filter.
- Water: Pour hot water slowly through the coffee.
- Decoction: Collect the strong decoction in the bottom chamber.
- Ratio (Thick): 1:2 to 1:3 (coffee to water) for a strong decoction.
- Serving: Mix decoction with hot milk and sugar to taste.
Moka Pot Brewing:
- Dose: Fill the filter basket of the Moka pot.
- Water: Fill the bottom chamber with hot water to the valve.
- Brew: Assemble and brew on medium-low heat.
- Ratio (Thick): Adjust water/coffee for a stronger brew.
- Serving: Dilute with hot milk and sugar to taste.
